Belle was born and raised in Canada and moved to the United States in 1999. She is the newest addition to our team; however, she brings 17 years of dental assisting and dental hygiene experience. Her passion is helping patients attain a healthy smile, and she “lovingly” encourages flossing. A light touch and sweet demeanor make up Belle’s prominent chair-side manner.
Belle has been practicing dental hygiene since 2013, when she graduated from Carrington College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She keeps current by attending continuing education classes throughout the year. Her passion for hygiene is quite evident for she has travelled all the way to Hawaii to attend a hygiene conference and jokes it was a “tough trip.”
In her downtime, Belle enjoys working out, shopping, and traveling.
Terri has been working in the dental field for more than 30 years. Her experience in dentistry has included participating in the front office, scheduling patients, and assisting chairside. She has been working with Dr. Cavendish since 2008 and sees how extremely rewarding it is to see a patient smile again after treatment. Recently, a patient stated that she hadn’t smiled in years because of her poor dentition. After veneers were placed by Dr. Cavendish and upon seeing her smile, the patient became very emotional and was overcome with joy. It was very gratifying for Terri to see how Dr. Cavendish was willing to go the extra mile.
In her spare time, Terri loves to spend time in the kitchen preparing delicious dishes and loves being outdoors with her dog, but her main passion is to travel with her husband.
The most rewarding part for me would be just when someone has a dental problem or issue, we're able to get them in in a timely manner and to really help them feel better about themselves, and to get them out of pain in a timely manner. Because a lot of patients, that's a big deal. If you have a toothache, you don't want to wait three weeks to get into the dentist. I love helping patients feel more comfortable in this setting, because so many people are afraid to come to the dentist. To me that's a real challenge but I enjoy it. I just love the dental setting. I like changing people's lives by making them have a better smile.
Cindy has been with our practice since 2012, but she has been working in the dental field since 1990. She spent 21 of those years as a dental assistant and has X-ray certification as well as many hours of training in both front and back office skills. Cindy has always loved working in the dental field. The opportunity to help people, change their lives, and to help relax people in the dental setting make her job great.
When Cindy is out of the office, she loves spending time with her husband of 37 years and traveling to see her five grandchildren. They also enjoy hiking, camping, and making new adventures.
